The Frome Book Fair Sunday 21st June – 10.00am - 3.00pm
The Frome Book Fair returns to the Cheese & Grain. After last year’s success, the 2026 fair will have around 30 stalls offering rare, collectable and second-hand books, maps, manuscripts and ephemera, something to suit everyone.
Situated in the heart of town, the C&G offers plenty of parking spaces, a Café with great food, teas and cakes, making the fair a great opportunity for book lovers, young and old, to have an enjoyable day out.
Growing up in a family of booksellers in London, Peter Foster now runs The Frome Bookshop, an independent, second hand and antiquarian bookshop located at the top of Cheap Street.
The shop offers a selection of Classic Children's Illustrated Books including Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Enid Blyton, Beatrix Potter, Winnie-the-Pooh, The Hobbit and many more. They also have a great selection of Local books, books on Magic & the Occult, Cookery, Travel, Sports and Motoring. The back room is a cosy space where customers can browse hundreds of Art, Photography, Film and Architecture books including Monographs, Catalogues, Signed and Limited Editions.
Thousands of titles ranging from just £2 to fine editions for book collectors. Open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10.00am – 4.00pm and Independent Market Sundays.
